Monday morning, the National Hurricane Center reported maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour. Tropical Storm conditions are expected in parts of Florida later today. Storm surge warnings have been issued from Indian Pass to Yankeetown, Florida.
The storm is expected to dump heavy rain as it slowly moves north into Georgia, the western Carolinas, and other Mid-Atlantic states.
