Hurricane Sam has formed in the Atlantic with wind speeds of 75 miles per hour. Sill's public adjusting team is tracking the storm.
This week, Sam became the 18th named storm of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season. It was churning about 1,450 miles east, southeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, with wind speeds of 75 miles per hour by Friday morning.
It is too early to tell if the storm will impact the United States, but anyone living in a hurricane-prone region needs to follow the weather situation.
Hurricane Sam is expected to grow into a major hurricane by later today rapidly.
